- Note some older OMC stern drive
parts with high profile upper drive shafts have short spline area of 1 inch and newer water pump shafts 1 1/4 inch spline
will not fit in it.

is a high profile OMC stern drive unit marine engine years 1967 thru 1974. Some later year outdrive units have true coarse
steering in them. Most OMC stern drives in this time frame were fitted with right hand worm gears.
